Originally from Michigan, Bill moved to North Carolina in 2003 to accept a sales position within the cold form steel truss industry where he quickly grew to be one of the company's top executives. In 2011, he partnered with his father Terry as a Management Member and together they founded Steel Construct Systems, LLC.

Joe McCowan is a North Carolina native who joined Steel Construct Systems, LLC in 2011. Joe has 7+ years of experience in plant management with a focus on truss production and plays a vital role in the operations of SCS including: purchasing, manufacturing, and shipping.

Will is from North Carolina where he began his career within the cold form industry back in 2007 when he was hired as an Estimator to work for another company. He quickly learned the business and found himself drawn to sales in 2010. Will joined Steel Construct Systems, LLC in 2011 as our Eastcoast Sales Representative.

Brandon graduated from North Carolina State University in 2003. Shortly thereafter, he began a career in engineering that focused on cold form steel components, primarily truss design. Brandon advanced quickly to become the top designer for his previous employer and in 2011 he join Steel Construct Systems, LLC as our Design Manager.

Melissa is a graduate of UNC Charlotte with a major in Public Relations. She brings many years of experience to SCS to assist with sales, design, and management of daily operations.

Terry lives in Michigan with his wife Char. Terry partnered with Bill in 2011 to form Steel Construct Systems, LLC. Terry brings 40+ years of management experience gained from his time in wholesale marketing, manufacturing, and commodity distribution to help consultant SCS.

Originally from Iowa, Bill and Terry met Dennis in 2005 while working as a CFO for another cold form steel trusses manufacture. In 2011, Dennis joined Bill and Terry as a member of Steel Construct Systems, LLC. His council in regards to financial operations at SCS is greatly appreciated.

Larry has considerable experience as a project manager and he also has extensive experience leading installation teams. This combination makes him ideally-suited to act as the point of contact for our customers through the production, delivery, and installation process.

Zac graduated from UNC Charlotte in 2012 with a BS in Civil Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. Once he was introduced to light-gauge steel engineering, it immediately sparked his interest. Originally from the Outer Banks of NC, he moved to Charlotte to attend UNCC. Zac's goals are to be quick and efficient while maintaining accuracy in estimating.

Sue has worked with Dennis for many years and assists him with matters of accounting, contract r eview, and collections.
